Brandon Correctional Centre is primarily a provincial medium-security centre with the ability to accommodate 248 male inmates. Major construction occurred in 2011, 84 more beds were added to boost Brandon Correction Centre’s holding capacity from 164 inmates to 248. The Brandon Correctional Centre also provides western Manitoba with short-term holding for young offenders and 8 adult females.
Do I need to be on an Incarcerated persons visitors list?
At your first visit must fill out a visitation application. It may take up to 14 days before you get a 2nd visit.
How can I schedule a visit?
All visits must be booked prior to visitation. Arrive at least 15 minutes early.
