Collins Bay Institution is a Maximum, Medium & Minimum security Federal facility. First opened in 1930, Collins Bay Institution was strictly a medium-security facility, however over the years it has expanded. The Maximum and Medium facilities can hold up to 96 and 482 male inmates respectively.
Do I need to be on an Incarcerated persons visitors list?
Yes!
Visiting application form must be filled out. If there are children visiting then a child waiver application must be filled out for the child as well.

How can I schedule a visit?
All visits must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. For morning visiting sessions, visitors must arrive before 10:15AM.
