Opened in 1996 and expanded several times, Murray’s Windermere Gardens Community Residential Facility (MWG CRF) is a large structural home in the downtown area of Barrie, Ontario. The facility provides its male clients with the following services, in addition to housing: three (3) nutritious meals and snacks, laundry, security, access to recreational activities, access to education, employment and volunteer opportunities, referrals to community support networks, controlled medication distribution and education and 1-1 mental health support and crisis intervention.
