Constructed in 1953 the Nanaimo Correctional Centre is a medium security institution for exclusively men. The provincial correctional facility has a total of 190 cells (according to a January 2015 report by the office of Carol Bellringer, FCA – Auditor General).

How can I schedule a visit?

Visits are only permitted on weekends and must be booked in advance. To book a visit, call between 10 am and 12 noon Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursday only.
